Afternoon Yoga   This is a moderate paced practice, less than a flow or vinyasa but more
active than Yin yoga. This class begins with a brief meditation, pranayama (breathing
technique), gentle warm-up session, followed by a variety of yoga postures from various
styles ending with savasana. All styles of yoga are based on the ancient traditions of hatha
yoga, whereby movement through asanas synchronized with the breath unite the physical
body and subtle body with the indwelling spirit. All levels will find this class safe, exhilarating,
and calming.

Chair Yoga   A unique yoga practice that adapts yoga positions and poses through creative
use of a chair. This class will include seated postures, as well as, standing poses, balancing
and breath work. The use of a chair helps to protect the lower back and joints, while still
increasing circulation, mobility, balance and strength. This class is suitable for all ages,
levels and limitations.  Great for all ages & abilities.  Good for Beginners

Core Yoga  Wake up and connect with your core- the very center of your will power,
personality, identity and strength.   With a weak core, you may be susceptible to common
injuries, experience problems with digestion, balance issues (on and off the mat), low back
pain, as well as, underlying confidence.  Strengthening your core improves nearly every
pose and muscle group in your yoga practice, from the low back, neck, shoulder, wrist pain,
pelvis region, knee joints, to your ankles, as well as, your foundation and muscular energy.
Our physical center is also linked to emotional elements in our lives, such as: confidence,
acceptance, self-love, stress and self-discipline.  In this core “light” power yoga class you will
work with meditation, breath work, and asanas that help to activate your core region,
centering your balance and strength on and off the mat.   All levels and ages welcome.

Evening Yoga   Join us for a soothing end of day practice meant to unwind, relax and
prepare you for a restful evening.  A gentle, meditative series of postures with restorative
effects on the mind, body and spirit is followed by a short and relaxing guided meditation to
help release all daily tensions.

Flow & Refresh   Release tension, revitalize your spirit and surrender to stillness with this
mindful movement class guiding you through a gentle to invigorating flow linking breath and
movement with attention to alignment.  You will be encouraged to honor where your body is
at by going at your pace, take rest when you need and be supported to explore deeper
variations when you feel ready.  Clear your mind, feel stronger, cleansed and nourished
after this class.

Gentle Vinyasa   Enjoy a slow to moderate- paced flow of poses exploring body and breath.
Designed around basic anatomical concepts it will bring more meaning and mindfulness to
your practice. A moving meditation perfectly blending science and spirit! Appropriate for all
levels.

Gentle Yoga  De-stress in this gentle yoga class. Will include postures, deep relaxation,
and meditation.  All levels welcome, no experience necessary.

Hatha Yoga  Two polar energies unite to achieve balance between body and mind. This
class includes physical poses (asanas), breath work (pranayama), and meditation to create
a harmonious state of body, mind, and spirit.  Through this  practice you will gain flexibility
and strength and find a state of equanimity through life's challenges.  All levels welcome.
Please let your instructor know if you are new to yoga.  Hatha Yoga is a set of physical
postures, and when done in sequence, they help to align your skin, muscles, and bones ~ as
well as open the spine to allow your energy to flow more freely.

Hatha / Restorative Yoga   Before deep relaxation, this class will incorporate stretching
and Hatha Yoga before delving into deep relaxation. This class will fosters deep relaxation
and restoration through simple yet energizing yoga postures and breathing. All levels and
ages welcome. If you are stressed, tired, or need to quiet your mind, this is a great class for
you. No experience necessary. Restorative poses (asanas) are the antidote to stress. They
are poses of being rather than doing. This form of yoga works with soothing the nervous
system. In each posture be sure to be comfortable. Tune in to your experience and check for
any tension or holding. If there is any strain, move out of the pose gently. Let your breath be
your guide. If you are holding it or it is not coming easily, move gently out of the posture until
the breath naturally returns. This class promotes "active relaxation". Some poses have an
overall benefit (like increasing circulation) while other target individual body parts. All create
specific physiological responses which are beneficial to health and can reduce the effects of
stress-related disease. Restorative yoga balances the masculine and feminine energies in
the body so the practitioner is neither too stimulated nor depleted. Love your body. Ease
your mind. Be gentle with yourself.

Mellow Monday  Start your week off by bringing wholeness to your healing center-your
heart.  Open and balance your energy of love and compassion, allowing you to create a
nurturing and supportive environment for yourself and others.  When we recognize we are
interconnected with each other, through the light within each of us, we can take our practice
off the mat into our daily lives. Turning inward, slowing down and turning off of auto-pilot, will
give you the opportunity to allow your best self to come through.  This practice will cultivate
improving stress reduction, quieting the mind of negativity, and coming into deep relaxation,
all of which are beneficial to your overall health. Be gentle with your mind and your body.
Moving through a practice of reflective meditation, breath work and building heat with
expressive asanas, to manifest and engage your healing energy center, can be a great way
to start your day.   No experience necessary.  All levels and ages welcome.

Morning Yoga  This class is designed to increase flexibility and strength, re-balance the
body, and center the mind. Link breath to movement building heat, endurance, flexibility,
strength and concentration. Sequencing is often built around sun salutations, which is
designed to open the energy channels of the body, purifying the body and focusing the
mind. We encourage all to explore their own practice in a safe, structured and nurturing
environment. You'll stretch and move, and come out feeling great! All levels welcome.

Slow Flow Yoga   A little faster paced class for those not beginning.  We will work on
flexibility, endurance, core strength and relaxation.  Standing poses, forward bends, twists
and balances are emphasized along with meditation and breathe work.  Meditation through
motion ~ a union of the mind, body & spirit.  In this fluid practice we flow from pose to pose
with attention to alignment.  Not suggested for beginners.

Soulful Flow  With emphasis on the devotional aspects of yoga (Bhakti), this fluid practice
will guide you to move deep into your body, mind and soul combining sound, breathing,
movement and meditation to align your practice from the heart out into the world, on and off

Yoga Nidra can be rendered in English as a yoga sleep.   It is an ancient practice of
learning how to experience spiritual awakening and well being through deep relaxation.
Yoga Nidra is a sleep-like state induced by guided meditative instructions to help you
experience a state of mind between wakefulness and sleep that opens deep phases of the
mind.  Yoga Nidra is a state of conscious deep sleep.  One appears to be sleeping but the
unconscious mind is functioning at a deeper level: it is sleep with a trace of deep
awareness.  In normal sleep we lose track of our self but in Yoga Nidra, while consciousness
of the world is dim and relaxation is deep, there remains an inward lucidity and experiences
may be absorbed to be recalled later.   Yoga Nidra has been found to reduce tension and
anxiety.  It brings an incredible calmness, quietness and clarity to your body, mind, and
spirit.  Yoga Nidra is one of the deepest of all meditations, leading awareness through many
levels of mental process to a state of supreme stillness and insight.   Unlike most
meditations, Yoga Nidra is not something you do, it is something you feel.   Yoga Nidra is a
service of love that we give ourselves.   It mentors us into the experience of our true nature.
